How we judged
Almost every tool in this category says it supports Arabic. Most of them mean the text field accepts Arabic characters. That is not the same thing as producing an Arabic ad.
So the primary criterion here is layout mirroring: when the language changes, does the composition flip so the logo, the reading order and the call to action move to the side an Arabic reader expects, or does the tool paste translated words into an English layout? Everything else, price, video, publishing, media buying, is secondary on this page, and we have said plainly where each tool beats us on it.
Pricing below is the published list price as of 11 September 2026, in USD. Enterprise tools that publish no price are marked quote-based rather than guessed at.
The comparison at a glance
ElarisLabs: automatic RTL mirroring from one master; Arabic typesetting from the brand kit; free, then $29/mo. Best for bilingual GCC campaigns at volume.
Smartly.io: mirroring not published; Arabic via templates the team builds; quote-based. Best for enterprise creative plus media buying.
Celtra: mirroring not published; Arabic via templates the team builds; quote-based. Best for enterprise creative ops and DAM.
Bannerflow: mirroring not published; per-market template versions; quote-based. Best for multi-market display production.
AdCreative.ai: no mirroring; no Arabic typesetting from a brand kit; from $20/mo annual. Best for fast first drafts and performance ads.
Canva: manual rebuild; manual font selection; free, Pro $12/mo. Best for small teams already on Canva.
Adobe Express: manual rebuild; manual font selection; free, Premium $9.99/mo. Best for teams inside Creative Cloud.
Creatify: no mirroring; no Arabic typesetting from a brand kit; $39/mo. Best for short-form UGC-style video ads.
Pencil: no mirroring; no Arabic typesetting from a brand kit; $14/mo. Best for performance creative testing.
The Brief: mirroring, typesetting and pricing not published. Best for create-to-publish across networks.

The ten tools
01. ElarisLabs
What it is for: Producing a full campaign, every size and both languages, from one approved master. Node canvas, brand kit locked at the top, Arabic and RTL handled in the same pass as the other sizes.
RTL handling: Mirrors the composition, applies the Arabic face from the brand kit, retypesets the copy, localises numerals and recalculates safe zones per placement.
Pricing: Free tier, Growth $29/mo, Scale $199/mo, Enterprise quote-based.
Best for: Brands and agencies running bilingual campaigns in the GCC, and catalogue advertisers producing hundreds of placements.
Where others beat us: We are not a media buying platform, our template library is small next to Canva, and we do not have Adobe or Smartly enterprise integrations. If your bottleneck is buying rather than producing, we are the wrong first purchase.
02. Smartly.io
What it is for: Enterprise creative automation joined to media buying across the major social platforms, with production and optimisation in one contract.
RTL handling: No published automatic mirroring. Arabic versions are produced the way any other version is, by building the template for that market.
Pricing: Quote-based, aimed at large advertisers and agencies.
Best for: Teams whose creative and media sit in the same budget line and who want one platform across both.
Where it beats ElarisLabs: Media buying integration, plain and simple. Smartly can produce the variant and buy the placement. We produce the variant and hand it over.
03. Celtra
What it is for: Creative automation for large brands with heavy asset governance: design systems, approval workflows and asset management at enterprise scale.
RTL handling: No published automatic mirroring. Multi-market output is driven by the design system the team builds.
Pricing: Quote-based.
Best for: Global brands with an in-house studio and a real DAM.
Where it beats ElarisLabs: Enterprise asset management and approval workflow depth. If fifty people need role-based sign-off on every asset, Celtra has more of that built than we do.
04. Bannerflow
What it is for: Display and HTML5 banner production for multi-market teams, with translation and versioning workflows built around campaign rollout.
RTL handling: No published automatic mirroring. Market versions are managed as separate variants of the campaign.
Pricing: Quote-based.
Best for: In-house teams whose media mix is display-heavy across many markets.
Where it beats ElarisLabs: HTML5 banner production depth and the translation workflow around it. Our output is strongest in social, programmatic display and out of home.
05. AdCreative.ai
What it is for: Generating performance ad creative quickly from a product or a brand, with scoring on the output.
RTL handling: No mirroring. Layouts are generated left to right.
Pricing: From roughly $20/mo on annual billing at the Starter tier, rising steeply with credits, into four figures at the top.
Best for: Solo marketers and small performance teams who need a draft today.
Where it beats ElarisLabs: Time to first output and entry price. If you want ten ad concepts in the next twenty minutes and brand governance is not the problem you have, it is the shorter path.
06. Canva
What it is for: General design, with brand kits, a very large template library and Magic Studio AI features layered on top.
RTL handling: Arabic text is supported, but producing a mirrored Arabic ad means rebuilding the layout by hand, per size.
Pricing: Free, Pro about $12/mo per person, Business about $21/mo per person, Enterprise quote-based.
Best for: Small teams who need one tool for everything and already know it.
Where it beats ElarisLabs: Price, template breadth and familiarity. Almost everyone on a marketing team can already use Canva, which is worth more than it sounds.
07. Adobe Express
What it is for: Fast design and resizing with Firefly generative features, connected to the wider Adobe ecosystem.
RTL handling: Arabic text is supported, mirroring is a manual rebuild.
Pricing: Free, Premium $9.99/mo, team licences from about $4.99 per seat in the first year.
Best for: Teams whose designers already live in Creative Cloud.
Where it beats ElarisLabs: The Adobe pipeline. If your masters are Photoshop and Illustrator files and your designers work there, Express is one step away rather than a new tool.
08. Creatify
What it is for: AI video ads in the short-form, UGC and avatar style, produced from a product URL or a script.
RTL handling: No layout mirroring. Arabic voice and caption support is not the same as a mirrored composition.
Pricing: Free tier with limited credits, Starter $39/mo, Pro $99/mo, Enterprise quote-based.
Best for: Performance teams testing high volumes of short-form video hooks.
Where it beats ElarisLabs: Volume of UGC-style avatar video specifically. That format is their whole product, and it shows.
09. Pencil
What it is for: Generating and testing performance creative, with predictive scoring, inside the Brandtech group.
RTL handling: No layout mirroring published.
Pricing: Core $14/mo, Growth $55/mo, Pro quote-based.
Best for: Direct response teams who want a scoring loop around their creative.
Where it beats ElarisLabs: Length of track record on performance prediction with large advertisers. Our scoring is newer, and we say so.
10. The Brief
What it is for: An end-to-end ad platform covering research, creation, localisation and publishing into a large number of ad networks.
RTL handling: Localisation is part of the product, but automated right-to-left layout mirroring is not documented publicly.
Pricing: Not published. Free trial offered, enterprise via sales.
Best for: Teams who want creation and network publishing under one roof.
Where it beats ElarisLabs: Breadth of direct publishing integrations across ad networks.
Why the mirroring criterion matters more than the feature list
A translated ad and a mirrored ad look identical in a spreadsheet of capabilities. They do not look identical on a phone in Doha.
In a translated ad, the logo stays in the top left, so the first thing an Arabic reader sees is the empty corner. The call to action stays on the left, so the eye finishes the ad and finds nothing. If the Arabic has been set in a Latin typeface, the letters do not join, which reads roughly like English printed with a space between every letter.
None of that is caught by a translation review, because the words are correct. It is caught by a layout review, and most teams do not run one for a market they do not read.
The same approved composition, mirrored rather than translated: every element that carries direction moves; the photography and the logo artwork do not. What that looks like in production is ElarisLabs work for McDonald's Qatar, live in both languages on a nine-screen network in Doha.
How to choose
If Arabic is a market you actually sell in, start with the mirroring question and let it filter the list before anything else does. Most of the tools here are good at what they were built for, and none of them were built for that.
If Arabic is a nice-to-have and your real problem is media buying, enterprise governance or price, the honest answer is that Smartly, Celtra or Canva respectively will serve you better than we will, and the rows above say so.
