You can compose and schedule posts directly from the Elaris UI or programmatically via the MCP API. Both paths converge on the same scheduler queue.

How do I create and schedule a post?

1

Start a new post

Go to Scheduler → Calendar or Posts and click New Post (or tap a time slot on the calendar).
2

Attach media

Pull assets from:
  • Studio projects — use finals or exports directly from the editor
  • Campaign assets — any video, image, or audio tied to an active campaign
  • Direct uploads — drag-and-drop from your local device
3

Write or generate a caption

Type your caption or use the Generate caption tool to produce platform-optimized copy from your media. Studio and MCP caption tools also produce captions you can paste here.
4

Choose destination accounts

Select one or more connected accounts to publish to. You can target multiple platforms in a single scheduling action.
5

Set the publish time

Pick a specific date and time, or use Schedule for later to save it to Drafts first. The scheduler tick processes due posts automatically — no manual trigger needed.
6

Confirm

Click Schedule. The post moves to your calendar and the Posts queue.

What media formats are supported?

JPEG and PNG are accepted across all image-supporting platforms. Recommended resolution is at least 1080 × 1080 px for square, or 1080 × 1920 px for vertical Stories/Reels.
MP4 (H.264) is the universal format. Platform-specific limits apply — Instagram Reels cap at 90 seconds, YouTube has no hard cap for channel uploads.
Audio-only posts are not directly supported for scheduling. Attach audio as part of a video asset via Studio before scheduling.

Can I publish to multiple platforms at once?

Yes. When composing, select all the destination accounts you want to target. Elaris sends the post to each platform independently, so per-platform failures don’t block others. Check Scheduler → Posts to see the per-platform publish status.
Caption copy and hashtag limits vary by platform. If you’re publishing to several at once, review each platform’s character limit before scheduling.
